I mean… it gives you exactly what you expect. So depending on your feelings about the MTV show, this film will either be worth your time and entertainment, or stupid and outlandishly uninteresting.

TAKEAWAYS:
1. With a runtime of over 90mins, this film moves as expected—dumb shyt after dumb shyt for your uncomfortable, and uncomfortably funny, viewing pleasure.
There was not a second wasted as our MTV team of Jackasses upped the ante on some old pranks while also including a few new. 👍🏾
2. PENISES! we love to see it, and they made sure to give you enough of it. 🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾👍🏾
3. I loved the minority and Black representation this film showcased—Black hockey players, women softball players, and Black UFC boxers to name a few. 👍🏾
4. Let me tell you something, Chris Pontius is such a handsome man…I couldn’t date him because it’s antics are too much, and I would get annoyed, BUT he’s so good looking, and I loved the queerness. 😩😜
5. Of course this film didn’t have a story! It never has. Now personally after watching last year’s Bad Trip, I know there’s a way to not sacrifice story for pranks, and I would’ve liked to see the Knoxville crew attempt that; BUT they also have a formula that they created that has worked, and story wasn’t the purpose of their formula. 🤷🏾♂️
6. To piggyback off a point previously made… the opening! 🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾
7. Machine Gun Kelly AND Tyler the Creator! 😝
8. Chile, Dark Shark! They did him so wrong. 😩😂🤦🏾♂️
9. Similar to my statement about this films story, this is the same for character arc development—none was needed. It’s just a group of individuals having a dangerously good time with one another. 🤷🏾♂️
10. The theme is simple—once a jackass always a jackass. This is made clear throughout the film via statements referencing “10 years ago…” or showing clips from the first Jackass movie when attempting to do the same stunt or prank today, and of course through the various pranks and stunts that make the movie even exist. The ending clip also solidified a different and loving interpretation of the theme as well. 👍🏾

Overall #JackassForever gives itself. Instead of taking conceptual risks, the film sticks to the formula it created.
I mean, there’s honestly nothing really interesting to say about this film because it simply did what it has always done. I will say though… I honestly wasn’t ready for it to end when it said it was the end…
